It's not new knowledge that Appcoins have been trending on base feeds, CT, Warplet and every possible crypto news feed, this means it's vital for we the "owners" of the meta to be well positioned to profit as well
In case you've been living under a purple rock 👀 an appcoin is a utility token built and pegged to miniapps on Farcaster, they either have utility in the miniapp for incentives, buying and selling of in-app assets or are used to drive attention to the app.
Appcoins were born and breed by Farcaster culture and outside investors as well as few in-app OG investors on FC have been opportuned to get in early on the meta.
I have compiled a list of these "Appcoins " with a detailed analysis of
1. the dev or team behind the token and App
2. the usecase of the team and app
3. the token performance in the last week
4. the position of the app on the miniapp lb
5. My takes and price predictions as well as possible entries on these tokens

Great write up 👊 One way I’m thinking of appcoins is the degree to which the coin relates to or is used within the app itself Do we have an app and a coin that are effectively two different, effectively distinct things? Or is there an appcoin that is integral to how the app is used and works? eg $tipn is a revshare appcoin that, when staked, delivers a share of the daily USDC fees generated by the tipn protocol
Thanks for the review. While I'm still looking into Appcoins to find out the metas, I haven't come across an appcoin that is effectively different from its miniapp. $reply is used on the @replyfarcaster app to set DM pricing without fees $BRACKY is used on the @bracky app to stake on games, the only token accepted actually $RETAKE is used in the @retake app as rewards to creators I guess for now the only token that comes close to what you're looking for is $TORT which the team @tortmusic.eth hasn't come up with a usecase for the token YET Even $DAU by the @dau team is sent to users that partake in the daily rewards alongside other tokens. Lmk if you have more questions or doubts 🤝
no this is the nuance I was actually talking about - examples of apps where their appcoins are an integrated part of the app; not simply a coin with the app name as the ticker name
app coins? for sure! utility within those mini apps will make the difference imo, and not just clanking the app would love your take on @checkr! the app coin that tracks token attention of those coins mentioned across Farcaster and Twitter
