DeFiAave Proposal; [ARC] Risk Parameter Updates for Ethereum Aave v2 MarketThis ARC proposes suspending deposits, disabling borrowing, and sending 100% of the interest paid by FEI borrowers to the Reserve Factor in reaction to the Tribe DAO's intention to reach a terminal state. The TRIBE governance token and the DAO's assets are being dissolved by Tribe DAO. Due to this, FEI will be backed by DAI 1:1 and redeemable at 1FEI:1DAI. Tribe DAO is entering a terminal condition, and the FE...

DeFiAave Proposal; ARC: Add OP as Collateral to AAVE v3The objective of the proposal is to add the OP token to Aave V3 on Optimism as a collateral asset. As the pool's initial liquidity is bootstrapped, the Optimism Foundation may additionally provide incentives.Optimism is an L2 scaling solution that will be introduced by the end of 2021 and is EVM equal. Currently, optimism supports more than 100 dapps and $500 million in on-chain value. Having already saved its customers over $1B in g...

Aave Proposal; Risk Parameter Updates for Aave V2: 2022-08-04
A proposal to modify four (4) Aave V2 assets' seven (7) total risk factors, including Liquidation Threshold and Liquidation Bonus.
In order to comply with the Moderate risk level selected by the Aave community, this proposal is a batch update of the risk parameters. The regular parameter suggestions from Gauntlet are continued with these parameter updates. The most recent market information (described below) has been digested by our simulation engine to recalibrate the Aave protocol's settings. Please take note that the lowered liquidation threshold for CRV and ENJ will result from this set of parameter adjustments. On a Risk Off Framework for decreasing liquidation thresholds, the community has come together.
The optimization function that balances the three primary criteria of insolvencies, liquidations, and borrows utilization is what determines what parameters Gauntlet should use. This objective function is optimized by parameter recommendations.
Aave Discussion; Parameter Change Disclaimer in Borrow User Interface
The borrower user interface should be updated to include a disclaimer alerting consumers that governance may change parameter values that may affect the health of their accounts.
The governance process leads to a variety of parameter modifications, including changes that have an impact on account health factors. One recent example is the community's agreement on the Risk-Off Framework for lowering liquidation thresholds.
By including a disclaimer in the borrow user interface, you can give Aave users more information. Making this information obvious is important since not all users may be aware that there is a governance mechanism for changing parameters or of the potential effects of governance choices. Without this caution, a user would think that only price changes affect the health of their account.
Aave Proposal; [ARC] Aave V3 Fantom - Freeze reserves
This ARC proposes freezing the Aave V3 Fantom market, allowing users to pay off their obligations and take their money but prohibiting deposits and additional borrowing.
The aave community should weigh the risks and rewards of maintaining an active Aave V3 market on Fantom after the Harmony bridge incident and the most recent Nomad bridge exploit, as this network is dependent on anyswap (multichain) bridge. The Aave Safety module does not presently support this market, and until the Aave governance specifically votes to do otherwise, the failure of the main Bridge to Fantom will leave customers with assets worth zero.
The Aave Guardian is asked to freeze all reserves on the Aave V3 deployment on Fantom in accordance with this recommendation. By blocking the ability to deposit or borrow assets in the Aave V3 Market on Fantom, this measure would safeguard users while still permitting debt payments, liquidations, withdrawals, and adjustments to interest rates. Any direct transfers to any of the aToken contracts won't be hampered by freezing the reserves.
Aave Proposal; Community Guardian renewal
With the exception of the Polygon market, the Aave V3 markets are now administered by a community guardian 6/10 multisig made up of DeFi community members. While an on-chain cross-chain governance module is being created, the community guardian is a stopgap mechanism that enables V3 markets to be upgraded following governance votes on Snapshot. A minor upgrade to the multisig signer could be advantageous for Aave given the ecosystem's impending upgrades and asset onboarding. These are the goals of this renewal:
Enlisting BGD Labs for assistance with transaction building
Shorten the time between Snapshot votes and governance decisions being carried out. The neighborhood Guardian will gradually have fewer duties because it is still seen as a stopgap measure. The current cross-chain governance method will initially be used with Arbitrum & Optimism. In addition, BGD Labs is developing a more comprehensive solution that, if accepted by the community via AIP vote, will be applicable to all networks. The Guardian's role will be reduced as a result of the governance V3 implementation to that of a failsafe emergency actor who is permitted to freeze Aave markets or cancel AIPs if they are determined to be unsecured or malicious.

Bankless Discussion; An Idea to Decentalise bDAO Project Selection
This idea proposes a more decentralized way for projects to be selected
All of the projects proposers will score the other projects except theirs
There will be a neutral coordinator to oversee the process
There will be a bounty for the coordinator
This will help expedite and decentralize the process of project selection
SuperRare Discussion; SuperRare on an L2
This discussion broaches the topic of expanding SR to Layer 2s now that Optimism and Abritum have reached one billion in TVL
The topics that need to be researched before making a decision would be:
Security of rollups
Current chain usage
Potential of growth
Feasibility of xchain governance
Bridging solutions for both NFTs and FTs
User Friendly GUI
Wallet address importer
Multiple node support
Auto multi-region
Auto multi-chain
