Wednesday 13th of August (6:30pm CET), X Space on burnouts and web3 life.
Onboarding Call 11th September 6pm CET, invite yourself (if you want to become a contributor), or someone you think might be interested!
Community Call 18th September 6pm CET, put it in your calendars, stat!
Events, integrations, talks, humans, ideas... it can't be all summed up in metrics, - but they are nice to see. In just 5 months of going full speed, we have grown and continue growing steadily.

From Berlin to Cannes, from laptop screens to IRL events. We have tried and tested what works and what doesn't. We have made friends for life. We also accomplished a fuck-ton. Welcome to this newsletter that will try encapsulate what the past months have been like.
As always, we start off with a womxn-led projects spotlight.
This is a prime example of winprivacy taking it out of the groupchat. We talked about a need for a private period tracking app, - Migle went on to win ETHGlobal Cannes with it.
She was hacking with three men, and it's truly endearing to know that they have stayed up through the weekend to build something good for womxn and learn all about ins and outs of menstruation. Echo chambers are out of style. Winprivacy builds for the ones that are often overlooked. We don't care what's between your legs, if you are helping.
Stay tuned for PrivyCycle updates!
In the meantime, an automatic period tracking device is being developed at Zanzalu.
They are looking for partnerships, funding and mentors (to design the machine), if you can help, reach out to them!

There's two main dishes for the end of the year menu:
An App.
We are developing an MVP of a single link you can send to any friend that is curious about privacy. With newbe and veteran tracks, it will contain all the resources we can gather. From why digital privacy is important, to collections of talks, podcasts, resources, and courses you can dive into. A bonus is links to the communities (Signal, Telegram etc) that people can join to chat about it. We are not reinventing the wheel here, we are just making what people need.
For future: this will be a mobile app, with featured integrated on top of them, and a singular resource for anything concerning digital privacy. Dream BIG.
A Documentary.
A 60min episode on Cypherpunk culture and privacy in this era. Filmed during Devconnect in Buenos Aires, pulling the biggest faces (and masks) in privacy from Web3privacy now Congress. This documentary has a twist, though. On the need to know basis.
Does that spark joy? Want to contribute or sponsor? Our DM's are open.
This is a natural development of what we have been doing all along. But bigger. And gamified. Check it out ⬇️
We have a talented pool of people. Some happen to be creatives. So we started providing services to privacy protocols, - it's a neat way to sustain our contributors, with 10% going into winprivacy treasury for non-profit activities.
Here's our pitch:
We work with protocols that want more than marketing. Protocols building an inclusive, safe future - with privacy at the core. We’re here to rebrand privacy. To replace the “dev in a basement” stereotype with a narrative that’s human, warm, and magnetic.
We work with real people, not just those cooking in the web3 soup. The ones who may not understand the tech, but know they need it: activists, journalists, women, queers, anyone living with real-world privacy threats.
We make your protocol relatable and appealing to them.
We create the real ✨ synergies ✨ between your technology and the people it was built for.

We had the pleasure to present Winprivacy at d/acc event during Berlin Blockchain Week. It was endearing to feel the audience align closely with our ethics and mission, and to have so many contributors onboarded after! You can find the video of our talk in the tweet below.

Two of our core contributors, Alina and Ais, also participated in a panel, talking everything privacy, wearables, science, and d/acc movement. Check out the full video in the tweet below.

We also had a pleasure of chatting with Vitalik in private about winprivacy, and having him as an ally! Honestly, didn't have a doubt he would be supportive.

This is where we gathered all our resources, and dove straight into executing our ideas. From Surveillance Art Installation, Anon Profile Pics, DYI Merch, and even a vintage leather jacket auction, we brought attention to what "safety" feels like at events, from physical to emotional, facilitating deep talks and connections between the attendees.
We felt that we really did an impact when we have seen those conversations continue at Cypherave after the event, with humans feeling comfortable to talk about uncomfortable things and feeling safe to share and discuss their experiences. That was our personal win.
Find the full recap here!

Alina gave a talk on how privacy should be cool, - the crowd laughed, got serious and engaged with the message.
We spent the rest of our time taking meetings, talking to potential sponsors and collaborators, growing our standing in the industry and taking dips in the sea in between.

Marina, Alina and Migle also had the pleasure of participating in Encryption Day hosted by Fenix. We have talked all things GDPR, privacy and security, not just bridging gaps but building a future where privacy is built universally, and for all.

"The title of this talk might be misleading, but hear me out".
We have been preaching that privacy needs to get out of the echo chamber, and to make its way mainstream. It was a pleasure featuring on Protocol Labs to create short form content, talking about privacy in simple terms, and this content has the potential to trickle down to TikTok, instagram and maybe your non web3 friends feed.

We also managed to host an event during ETHCC, together with Web3Privacy Now, in a classic Occupy fashion, - which is to occupy a park.
No KPI's, just some house wine and watermelon, along with jamming on the guitar, painting what privacy means to you and meeting humans. So many have helped carry the supplies back home, after the park closed, and we went for a sunset dip in the sea!

After the Cypherpunk Gurl Summer we are focused and locked in.
Along with our non-profit activities (Safe Events), we are cooking an app and a documentary, as previously mentioned. If you want to help and join in - contact us and we will onboard you.
