Welcome to the third edition of Artist Spotlight. Today we are highlighting a photographer, and everyone’s favorite ghost Milibooo. Booo is a photographer who transforms her encounters into intimate visual stories. Using her lens to reveal the hidden emotional worlds of strangers. Through empathy and imagination, she turns everyday faces into soulful narratives. So let's get to it (SI = Sage Inks, BOOO = Milibooo) SI: What is your name? (also your artist handle?) BOOO: My name is Mili. My han...

Today’s fifth Artist Spotlight is a little different. Today we are spotlighting a multi dimensional artist from Savannah, Ga. He goes by the name Coletrane Williams. Coletrane has a career in acting and in music, with multiple releases. For this spotlight we are going to focus on his last release Melody Black.
Melody Black was released on March 18, 2025, through the label Annah's Own. This album is a collaborative project with producer Yawny Keys. Coletrane Williams described the album as a deeply personal reflection on "melodies lost to fear, doubt, and lack of productivity"
The vibe of this album lives in the world of R&B, Spiritual Soul and Art Soul. It is contemplative textured and intentionally unhurried. This album feels more than just a release but more of a message and a reminder to creators not to leave the world with "art left inside" them.
This idea resonates deeply with myself and I am sure with many other artists. So many artists carry ideas, concepts, and visions, but allow fear, complacency, or perfectionism to keep them unreleased. And what could be our most impactful work ends up sitting on the back burner or just a draft, forgotten about.
Melody Black consists of 14 tracks and is about 36 minutes long.
A few of the bangers on this album consist of:
serenity
find a way
unfinished v888
Melody Black isn’t just something you hear; it’s something you sit with. It asks you to slow down, reflect, and consider what you’ve been holding back creatively and emotionally. Whether you’re an artist or simply someone navigating self doubt. If you’re looking for music that feeds the spirit as much as it sounds good, this is an album worth spending time with.
Go put this on right now and chill. Listen to it on YouTube or Spotfiy .
