Most of you don't know me. I joined Farcaster about 10 months ago. I stumbled across it by accident, while diving deeper into the crypto/NFT/decentralized world. I wanted a fresh start (IRL and Digitally), so I joined Farcaster and Zora (before they changed to being a creator community)
It all seemed like such cool communities, and community has always been my thing. You see every new place I have stepped foot on I have always ended up creating a community in some capacity. This last reincarnation of community I had created was opening my home to anyone who wanted to learn about fasting and a lant based diet. I did this for over 3 years, once a week; and it averaged about 55 people a week. We had all sorts of people joining. Business deals were inked on my living room floors, relationships, friendships, and more all blossomed in my home. It was more than just a community or hub; it had become an incubator.
However, being on this platform, with no one knowing me proved difficult to find my group of people. I bounced from channels, and groups, talking to people. I learned there were many walls people put up. I get it, lots of people are guarded to avoid scams, and those creepy guys, you know the type. I just wanted to find community.
One day I actually stumbled across this promotion on Inflynce platform talking about $TYSM and Bizarre Beasts. I checked it out and this changed everything for me. I found two communities that really began to resonate with me.
$TYSM full of amazing people, and artist who just love rewarding others for being awesome. A platform that wanted to create community and bring people together.
Bizarre Beasts a guy who took his creation to the next level. That is a scary thing. As an artist I have struggled with bringing my art to NFT platforms, my coin ideas to real life, and even some of my designs to become clothing.
The combination of these two platforms created a place for me, the rejected, the forgotten about, the no one knows me, the artist with ideas who was looking for community. I am so grateful for TYSM and Bizarre Beast for doing the three things I have always taught people who were apart of my community gatherings. Everyone wants to be:
Accepted
Heard
Loved
Thank you for the inspiration. Thank you for the community.

A reflection by @serenussage recounts joining Farcaster, seeking community, and discovering TYSM and Bizarre Beasts. These platforms gave space to an overlooked artist, helping art reach NFT spaces and clothing ideas, while fostering acceptance, being heard, and being loved.
