Welcome to the third edition of Artist Spotlight. Today we are highlighting a photographer, and everyone’s favorite ghost Milibooo. Booo is a photographer who transforms her encounters into intimate visual stories. Using her lens to reveal the hidden emotional worlds of strangers. Through empathy and imagination, she turns everyday faces into soulful narratives. So let's get to it (SI = Sage Inks, BOOO = Milibooo) SI: What is your name? (also your artist handle?) BOOO: My name is Mili. My han...

Stillness has been misread. People confuse it with softness, passivity, and retreat. However, stillness is not absence of force; it is force under control.
A still mind does not mean the world is quiet. It means the interior is governed. Most people react because reaction feels powerful, immediate and dominant.
Reaction is reflex. Stillness is choice
Stillness is the space between stimulus (that is the trigger) and identity (you give meaning to the trigger and that action creates the identity in which you see yourself). It is the discipline to pause without collapsing, observing without absorbing, deciding without being dragged.
Clarity is leverage
When your mind is still, you waste less energy defending. You see patterns earlier. You move with intention and precision.
Still Minds is not about meditation aesthetics. It’s about operational calm. In and under pressure, stillness wins before action begins. It’s not because it’s louder, it’s because it is intentional.

Why “Still Minds” Matters Stillness has been misread. People confuse it with softness, passivity, and retreat. However, stillness is not absence of force; it is force under control.
Thanks for sharing. ❤️ 🙏🏻
I like how you break things down . It’s simple & clear . And i usually learn something new . 100000 🙏🏻
Reading this, I realize how far I am from a still mind. My ADHD constantly pulls me in different directions, I start fifty things at once and not all of them get finished. Some do, but many stay half-done. I’m also a very emotional person, and whatever I feel usually shows immediately on my face. It’s hard for me not to react right away. So for me, stillness isn’t something natural… it’s something I’m still learning 🙃
and that is perfect. recognizing this is a huge plus. you know what, even if your emotion shows up on your face first doesn't mean you have to also blow up, you can feel something and recognize something and not react where you say or do something that could be detrimental, you know? But I love this. Small steps. I believe in you.
I'm an adult now, and I know my strengths and weaknesses... and basically accept myself as I am, although we always want to become a better version of ourselves, right? 🙃 But if you think about it, if we change ourselves, won't we cease to be ourselves? 🥹 Hard 😖😅
