Somehow… six months just disappeared.
Poof. Gone.
Half the year? Already behind us.
But let’s be real — back in January, you said:
“This year, I’m locked in. Focused. Dialed. Ready to build.”
So… did you stay locked in?
Or did life do what it does — switch the plan on you?
No judgment if it did. We’ve all been there.
But guess what?
This is your reset button.
The second half is untouched. Unmoved.
And you? You’ve still got time to turn the volume way up.
No warm-up laps.
It’s voltage season now
If you’ve been rolling with us on X, you already know,
June was packed. Online, on-ground, in motion.
If not? Don’t worry.
This is your moment to catch up, breathe in the momentum, and feel the spark again.
Scroll on. Let’s run it back, loud, clear, and full of purpose.👇🏾

This wasn’t just noise. This was a national signal.
Policy, inclusion, innovation we’re not just in the conversation. We’re shaping it.
600+ students. One room. Big vision.
We hit the road again this time to the University of Education, Winneba.
In partnership with Infoctess, we hosted 600+ students under the theme Tech Roots, Global Dreams and the energy was unmatched.
Talks from our founder Eric Annan, VP, Michael Lawal and Dr. Stephen Opoku Oppong got things going. Then projects like Learnway, iExchange, and Cryptomomo brought it all to life.
We left knowing one thing for sure:
Africa’s next builders aren’t waiting. They’re already building.
We also joined the Ghana FinTech and Payments Association on a visit to the Minister of Communications and Digitalization.
Representing AyaHQ and Blockchain Builders Association Ghana, we shared what we’re doing to support policy and create real room for startups to grow and thrive.
Moments like this matter. It’s how we turn ecosystem ideas into national action.
Innovation isn’t just tech. It’s policy, too.
We partnered with St. Patrick’s Academy to launch the Future Builders pilot a virtual program introducing secondary school students to programming and Web3.
We believe Africa’s digital future starts with early exposure. Through hands-on, beginner-friendly learning, these students are stepping into tech as creators, not just consumers.
It’s a small start but a big move toward unlocking talent and expanding access across the continent.
This one was fire.
We brought Where Building Meets Value-Creating for Impact to life at Swahilipot Hub in Mombasa. Over 60 builders showed up and the conversations were rich.
It’s always special when local energy meets global context.
Community is how we scale.
We hosted a reunion-style X Space with the ZuAfrique residents and it was nothing short of powerful.
Builders shared how the pop-up city experience changed their mindset, boosted their confidence, and gave them language for who they’re becoming.
Yes, ZuAfrique 2.0 is loading. Stay close.
Not every event has to be deep.
Sometimes, we just link up and vibe.
Game Night brought 30+ people to the hub with chess boards, PS5 battles, scrabble, Uno, Monopoly, and great food.
This is what community looks like, too.
Fun, connection, and just breathing together.

Ever tried building something great in a space that doesn’t support you? We’ve been there. That’s why we created the AyaHQ Builders Hubs with support from Lisk.
We’ve got two live locations:
One in Accra, Ghana
Another in Kilifi, Kenya
Here’s what you get:
A peaceful, conducive space with reliable power and internet
A community of serious builders you can grow with
Regular IRL events like hackathons, workshops, peer reviews, and deep-dive discussions
Time and space to focus—with zero performative pressure. Whether you're just getting started or already mid-build, this is where ideas become movement.
We’ve had some solid builders come through the AyaHQ x Lisk Builder Hubs both in Accra and Kilifi.
And now? It’s time to hear from them.
What was it really like building at the hub? What changed for them? What was the vibe?
We’re hosting a chill X-space to unpack all of that.

If you’re a builder (or just curious), you’ll want to pull up.
Come hear what it means to build in the No Bullshit Zone.
We launched the AyaHQ x Lisk Incubation Program with 30 early-stage African projects and just wrapped Elimination Week.
Now, 12 standout teams have been selected to move on to the next stage.
They’re not at the finish line yet, but they’ve made it through the first big cut and the momentum is strong.
In June, AyaHQ showed up not just in events, but in the conversations shaping innovation across Africa.
“We needed to create a one-stop ecosystem built on trust, where African talent is nurtured, empowered, and given the platform to create real value.” — Eric Annan, Founder, AyaHQ
In his feature with Blessed Frank on Technext, our founder shared what makes AyaHQ different. It’s not just about launching startups, it’s about building from belief.
Turning raw talent into real founders.
Creating systems where African builders don’t need permission to thrive.

Our Founder and VP spoke at Ghana Communication Technology University, under the theme Tech Roots, Global Dreams, encouraging students to take their place in Africa’s onchain future

We’re not just joining the ecosystem conversation.
We’re helping shape where it goes next.
Our partnership with Lisk isn’t just another ecosystem collaboration.
It’s a living, breathing engine for developer adoption, local innovation, and real MVPs across the African continent.
Since launching the AyaHQ x Lisk Incubation Program, we’ve:
Incubated 30+ founders from Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, and beyond guiding them from idea to MVP across DeFi, payments, identity, and community tooling.
Launched the AyaHQ x Lisk Builder Hubs in Accra and Kilifi, giving builders residency access, co-working, mentorship, and real-time product support for up to two weeks per quarter.
Helped builders ship real MVPs using Lisk. Projects like DigitPay, Learnway, Cryptomomo, Project Mocha and others are already making waves.
Hosted Demo Days, IRL check-ins, and mentorship sessions, connecting builders to funders, ecosystem leaders, and dev resources.
Africa is home to the world’s youngest, fastest-growing developer population. But most programs stop at education we go further.
With Lisk, we’re building a full-stack growth path:
→ Learn
→ Build
→ Launch
→ Get funded
→ Scale
And we’re doing it with proof, not promises.
If you’re still reading this is your sign to join the AyaHQ Builders Collective! Whether you want to network, collaborate, or just get inspired, we’ve got a bunch of exciting events coming up from workshops and hackathons to games and networking.
