gcap 🦡 everyone, let’s take a look back at the truly amazing 7 month journey of Capminal, from the very first steps to where we are today. This is the story of Type to DeFAI, built with real products, real users, and real revenue.

In just 7 months, Capminal CAP has reached milestones we are extremely proud of:
$6.9M total volume
$48.4K generated fees
13,205 holders
3,000 users with 10% concurrent users
From very early on, Dackie Labs believed that AI and AI Agents would be one of the biggest narratives of 2025. At first, the idea was simple. We planned to build an AI Agent and an AI Terminal as a new feature for DackieSwap. But soon, we realized that adding a feature to an existing product would not attract enough attention from the community.
That realization led to an important decision. Instead of being just a feature of DackieSwap, Capminal would become a fully independent AI Agent project, and we chose Virtuals Genesis as our launchpad.
CAP tokenomics were originally designed following the Virtuals standard.
9% of the supply was allocated for community airdrops
3% was reserved to airdrop to DACKIE Premium users, as a way to capture value and reward the community that supported Dackie from day one
Capminal successfully launched on Virtuals Genesis with over 300% oversubscription. At the same time, many other projects launched with strong dev profiles and heavy attention, while Dackie Labs was just a small team with limited visibility.
Still, with the principle of “real product, real revenue”, Capminal remains one of the very few teams from that launchpad batch that is still active and building today.
After TGE, Capminal continued to ship new features and expand partnerships to share community attention. We joined Base Demo Day to showcase our standout features.
At that time, along with Bankrbot, Capminal was one of the very few AI Agent DeFAI projects that could actually be used in real scenarios. Users could simply tag Captain Dackie on X or type commands directly in our AI Terminal to perform DeFi activities.
CAP Points was also launched early, designed to recognize community contributions and prepare for future airdrops.
One month after TGE, we noticed a flood of projects onboarding Virtuals Genesis. Without doing something special, Capminal risked being forgotten.
We made a bold move:
Extended the green lock by 2 more months
Burned 40% of the dev allocation
The community reacted very positively, and CAP experienced another growth wave after the initial TGE peak.
In August, Capminal launched two features that the community loved:
Airdrop
Lucky Draw
Many KOLs and projects used the Capminal Agent as a tool to airdrop tokens to their communities. These two features are currently paused due to tighter X policies around agent usage.
August was also the month Capminal Gems went live. This is a launchpad built on top of Clanker, providing a UI for creators to deploy tokens, write their story, and share it with the community.
Capminal Gems became the launch home for several well performing projects. One standout example is Dackie Warriors, a community token from DackieVerse, which once reached an ATH market cap of $250k.
By the end of September, the InfoFi narrative from KaitoAI started gaining traction. Capminal partnered with DackieVerse to host multiple yapping weeks, building a strong group of content focused contributors for the Dackie ecosystem. Four weeks of yapping events were hosted on Cookiedotfun.
Around this period, the full 9% airdrop allocation was distributed to the community, including DACKIE Premium users, CAP Points contributors, and VIRTUAL stakers and yappers. At the same time, 40% of the dev allocation was burned, meaning CAP officially reached its max supply with zero future emissions.
Capminal protocol was designed so that every month, part of the protocol fees is used to buy back and burn CAP. This makes CAP deflationary over time. By the end of 2025, burned CAP accounts for 41.06% of the total max supply. Capminal is among the very few projects today with truly deflationary tokenomics.
After the CAP airdrop, we focused on building core DeFi features to solidify Capminal as a true DeFAI agent. Features like Limit Orders, DCA, and PnL Sharing were released one by one.
Today, users can automate almost all their DeFi actions using only their Capminal wallet.
As the Virtuals protocol evolved and retired its old agent token staking system, Capminal quickly released CAP Staking. This new staking contract is independent from the Virtuals ecosystem, allowing CAP holders to stake directly in the Capminal wallet and earn CAP XP.
Capminal Mini Apps on Farcaster and Base App have also been released. With these, we expect to onboard even more users from both platforms.
One of the most important narratives for AI Agents on Base and Virtuals is x402 APIs. Capminal was among the first projects to release x402 APIs, and adapting early to this narrative helped CAP achieve a 10x move from the bottom.

But we did not stop at following trends. Staying true to “real product, real revenue”, Capminal released the x402 Orchestrator in December, supporting both x402 V1 and V2, with the ability to directly call any x402 API.
We also introduced a new contribution system called CAP XP. This system replaces CAP Points after the airdrop. Contributors to Capminal can now receive a share of monthly protocol fees when they swap and stake CAP.
Seven months may sound short, but in crypto, it is a very long time. Looking back at Capminal’s feature portfolio, even we are surprised by how far we have come. Choosing to build Capminal as an independent product under Dackie Labs has proven to be the right decision, and we are proud to have built something that so many users believe in.
2025 has been a tough year with challenging market conditions. Still, CAP was fortunate to be part of sectors that gained attention, and we experienced three strong growth waves.
2026 will bring new challenges, but also new opportunities. DeFAI, x402, and AI Agents are just getting started. Dackie Labs is fully committed to continuing to build and deliver useful products for our users.
We love you.
