Preston had been asking me for days about what I was thinking for the logo of HGHR foundation.
In all honesty, I had nothing, because I had everything. I wasn't sure I wanted a spin-off of the usual green back ground and bold "HIGHER" or just the arrow. But from the beginning, part of my thought process for the foundation was how cool it would be to piggyback on the endless stream of aesthetic twists to the design made by the community.
How would I incorporate Blankspace's abstract concepts with Dmitry's punk rock meets sci-fi style aesthetics and Agrimony's 90s anime + Typography mix?
In the end, for this brief, I didn't come up with a way to mix it all.
My idea was to bounce off core concepts with Claude to quickly draft a brief that makes sense to get started with. Then, as we curate media from a variety of sources as we build out initiatives and co, we'd probably copy some styles and add to the brand's overall identity using contexts specific to our circumstances.
There's a lot of vague babble here but the starting point for this logo looks something like:
HGHR.fdn
I seem to like the idea of easily replicable, typography-based design that can be played with in such a variety of ways.
If you look closely, you can almost imagine this being an animated graphic expanding into "Higher Foundation" or a montage of visual images flashing behind HGHR.fdn.
I'm not the most artsy person but something like this kinda appeals to me. Anyways, let's see what the designer comes up with.

Earlier today I asked for help coming up with a brief for HGHR foundation's logo and design stuff. Eventually (after some back and forth with claude) I came to a starting point best summarized as: **HGHR**._fdn_ more on that here: https://paragraph.com/@empty-notes/building-hghr-3 (ps: if you have ideas, please share them) Higher.
