It’s been about 8 weeks since our last report. To be honest, the past two months flew by, and I’m still blown away by the reception Indexy has had. In this newsletter, I'll walk you through a major new release, plus product updates, milestones, and key metrics from the past two months.

First things first...

Over the past few weeks, we’ve spent a lot of time chatting with users, teams, and builders. One thing came up again and again: access to Indexy’s data, metrics, and index logic. So we decided to open it up.

We’re excited to launch the Indexy API, our first step toward making Indexy more extensible and developer-friendly.

With this initial version, you can access hundreds of indexes and metrics across chains, categories, and segments. It’s perfect for AI agents, miniapps, dashboards, or any project looking to showcase or build with onchain index data.

Some early use cases we’re seeing:

• Insight AI agents accessing performance data across ecosystems, categories, and chains to generate more holistic and unique insights

• New mindshare metrics that go beyond social noise, giving you a better signal

• Index performance embeds that let you show your index on your website, miniapp, or anywhere else

We continue to see healthy month-to-month growth across all key metrics, both in usage and index creation. Here’s a quick snapshot since our last report.

• 35,000 index views (+40%)

• 17,000 monthly active users (+13%)

• 2,200 active registered users (+37.5%)

• 180 unique users created an index (+12.5%)

• 2,100 assets tracked (+110%)

• 700 indexes created (+190%)

* This compares June to August (still 10 days to go), since we didn’t publish metrics in July.

• We crossed 700 custom indexes and 2,000 tracked assets on the platform.

• Indexy and $i made it to the first batch of Base tokens on Coinbase DEX, reaching millions of users.

• Indexy is the #1 App on Base App Finance Leaderboards.

• Aerodrome launched a $i liquidity pool.

• XT.com centralized exchange listed $i.

• $i properly listed on CoinGecko, currently ranked #1762 asset on the platform.

• Indexy attention is growing on X.

• Index age and last re balance date.

• Index history logs.

• Updated the navigation on desktop, mobile and mini apps.

• Updated technical docs.

• Considerable improvements to the UI, removed multiple bugs. 1, 2

As a final note, the team has grown to three, and we’ve really hit our stride over the past few weeks. Momentum is building, and alongside the API launch, we’re deep into several important updates.

We actually had another major release ready to go today, but dropping two at once didn’t feel right. Something big is coming soon.
