Hello everyone!
I’m Kaloh, and welcome to another Indexy progress report.
June has been a pivotal month for Indexy, and I’m excited to share the details.
I’m absolutely thrilled to report that $i has been a smash hit—no need to bore you with all the price charts. Just know it rocketed to #1 on Base for over a day, stayed in the top performers for more than a week, and is closing in on 2,000 holders. The buzz on social media and every leading DEX brought a tidal wave of new users straight into Indexy.
Want the full story? I’ve laid out my motivations for $i in my personal newsletter here. In that post, I spotlight several pioneering “tokenized apps” that have harnessed tokens to drive innovation and unlock new possibilities across the crypto space.
Distribution: That frenzy translated into a flood of sign-ups. Chart watchers and token fans alike discovered Indexy’s true value—and stuck around.
Bootstrap: As a solo, bootstrapped founder, extending my runway was vital. $i’s success makes it possible to keep building Indexy, and I’m excited to welcome a new developer to the project.
Product Improvement: Now comes the fun part: weaving $i into the product. I have a stack of ideas for how the token can make Indexy even more powerful, and I can’t wait to validate and roll them out.
June has been another all-time-high month for every key metric—and the month isn’t over yet! Since my last update three weeks ago, I’m excited to report:
+15,000 monthly active users (+87.5%)
+1,600 active registered users (+68%)
+25,000 index views (+233%)
+1,000 assets tracked (+122%)
+160 users that created an index (+218%)
+240 indexes created (+190%)
Even more exciting: index creators are actively rebalancing their portfolios, sparking vibrant discussions. We’re also seeing a surge in index activity beyond Ethereum—Solana, SUI, and Cosmos are all trending upward.
Here are five new indices that caught my attention over the past week:
After the $i launch, Indexy faced its first real stress test. I identified and fixed several query and data-processing bottlenecks, cutting peak response times from 25–40 seconds (at peak times) down to just 2–5 seconds—that’s over a 700% speed improvement.
One of the most requested features just went live—custom covers for your indexes! Now, from the index management view, you can upload and update unique cover images to make your indexes stand out.
I’ve added two new leaderboard categories—Most Indexed Assets and New Assets—so you can quickly spot which coins are trending on Indexy.
The Farcaster mini-app now includes features you won’t find on the web—most notably, a robust notification system. You’ll receive a daily digest of your created, tracked, and trending indexes, plus instant alerts whenever an index you follow is rebalanced or updated.
I'm separating upcoming features into two buckets.
This is the bucket that we are constantly shipping (literally on a daily basis over the past 3 months) and just make the product more complete (e.g. index covers, better notifications, load times).
In this bucket, here are some of the things currently in the making:
New index performance metrics in BPS with a neutral scoring system
KPIs improvements, including clearer volatility and mindshare scores
Dedicated individual token pages for easy browsing
Index activity log
Customizable user profiles (name, bio, social links)
X log in
These are the ones that keep me up at night. There are some truly exciting and unique opportunities with Indexy that I can’t wait to share with everyone. Unfortunately, I can’t reveal the exact ideas yet, but I will as soon as there’s more progress.
Last Friday, I joined an X Space to chat with the Clanker team and founders from other ecosystem projects. It was fascinating to hear all their unique perspective and innovative approach.
Until next time,
- Kaloh

Good👍👍👍
Expanding users to X is a good way to increase exposure.
Killing it! Appreciate your work, and admire how well you quantify the value your features, improvements, etc. for e.g. “…the 25–40 seconds (at peak times) down to just 2–5 seconds—that’s over a 700% speed improvement“
