📊 Indexy Report: API V1, Product and Milestones
Introducing our API, product updates, metrics, and key milestones over the past weeks...
Today, Indexy evolves.
We're introducing two major updates. First is Ports, bringing portfolio tracking and strategy management that the community has repeatedly asked for. Second, we're launching Premium Plans, a step that reflects the product's maturity and readiness to scale according to your needs.
The launch of Premium Plans adds concrete utility to $i, keeping incentives aligned across quants and the protocol.
Both updates make Indexy more useful, more sustainable, and more aligned with how people actually research, diversify, and invest.
Ports emerged from a clear need, the ability to automatically track portfolios users care about, whether that is their own wallets, a KOL’s wallet, a whale’s wallet, or any other set of strategies they want to interact with.
Ports are fundamentally different from indexes because they are backed by real holdings, while indexes are more flexible, allowing any assets and weights. Ports represent real strategies, while indexes are synthetic.
How do Ports work?
They are advanced onchain monitors that anyone can replicate and invest in with one click. They rebalance automatically every time a token balance changes and reflect holdings in near real time. Ports ignore spammy assets, resulting in accurate representation of onchain strategies.
To create a Port and start tracking a wallet, follow the steps below or watch the walkthrough video.
Tap the + Create button and select Ports
Add the Port details, including name, description, tag, and image
Add the wallet address you want to track (currently only Base is supported)
Click Continue, then Create Port
In practice, you can select one or multiple wallets, and Indexy automatically builds a Port, with the analytics suite that resembles indexes. As those wallets change, the Port updates accordingly, reflecting movements, allocation weightings and actual value.
This allows quants to analyze and diversify across the best performing Ports on Indexy.
Why Ports matter?
Ports unlock a new layer of transparency and composability within Indexy:
Follow how wallets allocates capital over time
Unify multiple wallet analytics in one place
Showcase strategies backed by real onchain holdings
Get exposure to portfolios (coming soon)
At launch, Ports support Base network. Support for additional networks will be added progressively.
Adding utility to $i has been part of Indexy’s design from the very beginning. Until now, $i has been used primarily to reward quants who create high quality indexes.
With the introduction of Premium Plans, $i becomes the key to accessing Indexy’s advanced features, while also introducing a deflationary mechanism tied directly to real product usage.
Premium Plans

Payment and burn mechanics
Users can pay for plans using either $USDC or $i.
When a plan is purchased:
The remaining portion becomes protocol revenue, supporting Indexy’s operations while ensuring long term sustainability.
This structure ties $i directly to platform usage. The more people use Indexy’s features, the more $i is burned, making the token deflationary over time, while creating revenue for the protocol.
It is a simple model that balances incentives between users, quants, and Indexy itself.
Why is burning positive?
Burning reduces the total circulating supply over time. As usage grows and more is burned through Premium Plans, transactions, the token becomes increasingly scarce.
For holders, this means that their share of the total supply increases proportionally, assuming demand remains constant or grows alongside product adoption. This aligns token value with platform success while rewarding long term participation.
What comes next?
$i utility, Ports, and Premium Plans are foundational updates that bring us closer to our vision for Indexy. This is not the end state, it is the base layer we will continue building on, just as we have over the past 8+ months. Premium members will receive early access to new features, and the value of the plans will increase over time.
Indexy’s trading layer, currently in closed beta and already used by over 400 quants, unlocks investing not only in indexes, but also in Ports. Premium members get fee discounts, while maintaining the same burning mechanics per transaction.
Indexy is evolving into a powerful tool suite where quants and investors can research, build, and gain exposure to markets, narratives, and ecosystems, not just individual assets.
As always, feedback is welcome. We are excited to see how the community uses Ports and how quants experiment with real portfolios on Indexy.
You can explore the new Ports feature, subscribe to a Premium Plans and request access to the Trading Beta here.
