As always, lots of great stuffs are happening in the Moxieverse every week. Todayβs newsletter covers all the biggest stories from the Moxie community this past week.
Here's a quick rundown of all the major talking points;
Crossing the 1 Billion TVL mark
Moxie Earn week 1 in numbers and campaign improvements.
Moxie Gamesathon Finalists announced.
Moxie Improvement Proposal 1 (MIP-1) vote.
$Moxie records highest DEX volume day in history.
Choosing Moxie Heroes.
3.2 million $moxie distributed to players of FarFantasy and their fans.

This past week, the total value locked (TVL) in the Moxie ecosystem crossed 1 Billion Moxie β currently sitting at over 1.1 Billion $moxie, as of the time of writing. For a sense of scale, that's over 10% of the total initial supply, and 70% of all possible circulating supply.
Absolutely phenomenal! Hats off to all Moxie maxis out there that made this possible! π«‘
Fun Fact: TVL in Moxie up 34% since Nov 1

Moxie Earn is off to a great start, and the numbers are a testament to this. Hereβs a breakdown of week 1 metrics;
98 advertising campaigns
Over $15k USD worth of $moxie was spent on promotions
11,363 Quote casts
110,000 total engagements
Average cost per engagement is $0.12 USD

Furthermore, based on feedbacks from early users of Moxie Earn, the team shipped some major updates to Moxie Earn last week. Here are some of the changes;
Moxie Earn campaigns now have dynamic pricing based on the boost. Lower boosts require less budget, while higher boosts require more budget. In essence, the initial minimum of 50,000 $moxie no longer applies, instead, the pricing is now based on boost.
Another major update is that Moxie Hero boosts do not apply to Moxie Earn promotions.
Voting is live for the Moxie Gamesathon Finalists! The Moxie team announced the finalists of Moxie Gamesathon last week. Six games from the Moxie community have been selected to share an allocation of 17 million $moxie grant.

In a bid to grow Moxie to 1 million users and beyond, the Moxie Protocol Core team is positioning Moxie to be the SocialFi protocol across the entire Base Blockchain.
To make that possible, the core team has proposed 2 improvements be made to the protocol;
Enable the Moxie Protocol to be used without a Moxie Pass NFT. This will enable anyone anywhere to buy, sell or create Fan Tokens on the Base Blockchain.
Enable wallet to wallet transfers of Fan Tokens so that Fan Tokens can be more easily utilized in standard wallets and DeFi protocols.

This past week, $moxie recorded its highest daily DEX volume day ever. Of course, this correlates with the launch of Moxie Earn, which requires advertisers to either purchase $moxie from the market, or use from accumulated rewards.

A lot of questions have been asked about the selection process for Moxie Heroes. The team made it clear that there are no automatic nominations from each week's heroes to the next week.
Out of the 50 heroes for the week, 10 would be chosen based on thoughtful nominations by the community. The remaining 40 would be selected by a data analysis of contributions to the Moxie ecosystem over the past 14 days, factoring in such things as locked fan tokens, diversity of engagement, engagement rates, and more.
