Limit Orders is a trading feature that lets you set a specific price at which you want to buy or sell a token. Instead of executing immediately at the current market price, a limit order only fills at your chosen price or better — buy orders at your price or lower, and sell orders at your price or higher. This helps you control execution price, reduce slippage, and stay disciplined with your strategy.

• Precision Pricing: Set your exact buy/sell price and execute only at that level or better

• Slippage Control: Avoid unfavorable fills by not crossing the spread unless your price is met

• Partial Fill Flexibility: Get filled as liquidity appears at your price without forcing market orders

• Strategy Discipline: Stick to your plan and remove emotion during volatile moves

• Active Capminal account

• WETH balance for buying tokens

• Token balance for selling tokens

1. Navigate to Limit Orders in your Capminal dashboard

2. Click "Create"

3. Configure your strategy (see Configuration section below)

4. Review and activate your Limit Orders command

Choose what you want to do with your Limit Orders:

• BUY: Use WETH to purchase your chosen token

• SELL: Sell your chosen token for WETH

Set how much you want to trade:

• Token Amount: Specify exact token quantity (e.g., 100 tokens)

• Target Price: Specify exact the price based on USD

Your Limit Orders dashboard shows:

• Status Orders: Currently status running Limit Orders strategies

• Expiry Time Orders: The expiration time; unfilled orders auto-cancel at expiry.

• Completion rate: filled quantity vs. ordered quantity.

• All trades execute on Base chain at now

• Execution Risk: Network congestion may delay trades

• Liquidity Risk: Low-volume tokens may have higher slippage

• Always DYOR: Research tokens before setting up Limit Orders Command

• Permanently removes the Limit Orders command

• Cannot be undone
